I want to own Strings from the Heart!!! When you search on Google or Bing or anything I want it to be my pages that come up for Strings from the Heart!

I have been sewing for almost 50 years, yes since I was a small child and my mother had to thread my needle for me! As my children were born they wore a lot of clothes made by me. As I gained nieces they were given dresses made by me. One year I even made Barbie doll clothes for all of the little girls in the family. (Wonder how many of them still have those tiny clothes)

When I started Strings from the Heart the name came naturally, everything I make is from the heart, even if it is made for a stranger. I first started making what I call “pouch pockets”, it is a 5 x 7ish pouch that will hold your cell phone, car keys and has a pocket for a credit card, an ID and folded up cash if you want to stash that also. I make these with a shoulder strap or a wrist strap. This pouch was really popular and I was making and selling them left and right.

I then designed a smaller version of this pouch that the managers of the store that my sister works at all carry. It will hold 2 phones, their keys and the credit card, cash & ID. I put a ring on the bottom of some of those so they can conveniently carry their register keys. These are made with shoulder straps for an easy carry. My sis asked for one and the design became popular at her store, now most of the women carry them. I worked with my sis by sending a picture of the embroidery before I did it. That way if she said bird she could choose from a lot of different ones. Then she would tell me the colors to use.

I went on to making messenger bags and had a woman order one for herself that was custom made, I was either texting, talking or emailing her at all times so she had input on the design all the way from beginning to end. She then ordered 2 more made especially for her daughters in law.

I just completed a set of pillows for my daughter and her fiancee. I had bought a new embroidery machine and decided to make the custom pillows for her. She got those yesterday and says that she loves them!!!!

So if you want something special for yourself or someone else then just ask. I also enjoy making baby clothes and have made Christening gowns in the past. Now I can embroider a gown with the baby’s name and birth date to make it special for the person receiving this as a gift.

I will answer questions and if I cannot make something you ask for I will tell you. I might be able to refer you to someone that does or will make the item. I have access to over 10,000 embroidery designs and get new ones every day. So if you see something I have embroidered on a bag and you want it on a pillow, just ask. If you see it on black fabric and want it on pink, just ask. I might have to adjust thread colors for fabrics but I can do that. If you see yellow roses and want pink ones, just ask. I can use the same design and just change the thread colors.
